These were from a batch of pictures I took back in 1997. Subsequently, I forgot them in a bag in the trunk of my car, where they prceeded to get clobbered by everything back there. They were pretty hammered. Anyhow, i found them last week when looking for stuff in the basement...
This was a cheap midi keyboard made by 'Reveal', just before they went under back in 1997 or so. I took it apart and painted the case black, the ebonies magenta, and the ivories mint green. I then misted white, black, mint, and magenta paint over them, and coated the keys in a healthy coat of satin clearcoat.

I tried to line up the shadows from the venetian blind in the room just right so that you could tile this image horizontally. It worked for the most part.

A very dramatic shot of the keyboard and my Roland D110 midi tone generator, setup to look like a minimal studio. (The little blue thing coming out of the back of the keyboard was so that i could make devices (windchimes and such) that triggered midi events. No, i never made any. :( )

Rob made these. THey're modified bead-squid figures, fashioned to look like the evil one himself. When you press the button on them, they sing "It's A Small World", the theme song to the evil one. We joked that these were backup singers for another larger Cthulu or something... hehe.
